The cycle consists of seven courses that contain information about the basics of MC, inventory and accounting of nuclear materials.

Nuclear materials control
The cycle consists of three courses: the basic control methods, theory and practical application of seals and bar codes for MC.

Nondestructive assay
The cycle includes a comprehensive set of courses for non-destructive gamma and neutron analysis of products, waste and sample solutions, as well as the calibration of tanks.

Statistical methods
Five courses cover all aspects of the cycle of statistics for MC.

Software engineering
The cycle consists of five courses on software development for MC and MC computerization

Inspections
Courses are designed to cycle RTN inspectors and employees of organizations of the State Corporation Rosatom state of the control systems employed MC.

Specialized courses
The cycle consists of courses designed for specific categories of workers employed in the MC.
RMTC was established in 1994 by a joint decision of the Ministry of Atomic Energy, and GAN, approved by the Government of Russia, at the State Scientific Center of Russian Physics and Power Engineering Institute. Acad. A. Leypunsky in Obninsk (Kaluga region).
The purpose of the center — the spread of the modern ideology of control and accounting of nuclear materials (MC), training of personnel of nuclear facilities and inspectors GAN theoretical aspects and practical skills in accounting and control of nuclear materials.
